We are looking for a senior digital marketeer to join the strategy team at Wayne Parker Kent.
70% of this role will be managing a global project we run together with one of our most important clients. In this role you turn data into insights and turn these insights into actions. You will be the CPU of the project that always knows how things are going and make plans for future. The other 30% will be filled with strategic responsibility on 2 or 3 other, less intensive accounts in our portfolio.
So being able to find and analyzing data is essential. Furthermore, you will need deep knowledge of marketing in the digital age. Finally, a love for making amazing content will make you the ideal candidate.

Let’s start by being honest: this is a heavy position. Why? You will be involved in every moving part of this project. After figuring out what our client ‘really wants’ and translating this into concrete goals you start digging. Researching the target audience so you know them better than the client does. Desk research is your middle name, and when needed you can make custom researches happen in an instant. You mix these gathered insights with a pinch of Joe Pullizi, Byron Sharp where needed, and a little Godin on the side. You sketch customer journeys with your eyes closed and preferably you love to talk about Hero, hub and hygiene content. And as mentioned earlier website- & social analytics and SEO skills are the defaults in your toolbox.

Absolutely. But this doesn’t mean you have to do everything by yourself. First of all you will become part of the strategy department where you will work closely (but safely distanced) with the Head of Strategy on this project. Furthermore, we have a dedicated team of experts working with us. But you will be the one determining what they need to do and make sure everybody is working towards the same goals. But all with the support of great project managers, account managers and our creative squad. Besides that we have some external experts that you will have to guide too.
In short: you research, guide, brief, you measure and you start over.
